Solar Power, Inc. designs, distributes and installs complete photovoltaic solar systems for utility, government, commercial and residential facilities located primarily in the United States.
We also sell our solar modules and mounting and balance of system components to installers and select distributors for use throughout Asia and Europe. Our unique brand of photovoltaic modules and system components are manufactured in our factory located in Shenzhen, China. Our modules utilize both Monocrystalline and Multicrystalline silicon.

Our business strategy is to develop, manufacture and market solar panels and system component products as a complete photovoltaic system to industrial, commercial and residential facilities located primarily in the United States. Our principal products include the following:
- Modules. A solar module is an assembly of solar cells that have been electrically interconnected and laminated in a physically durable and weather-tight package. A typical solar module can produce from 20 to 300 watts of power and range in size from 2 to 25 square feet. Our typical commercial module will range from 180 to 220 watts.
- Systems. A solar system is an assembly of one or more solar modules that have been physically mounted and electrically interconnected to produce electricity. System components include inverters, meters, racking systems, cables and wiring. Typical residential on-grid systems produce between 2,000 to 6,000 watts of power.
We also bring our solar power products to market through strategic company-owned retail operations and the national Yes! Solar PowerTM dealer program we are engaged in building. Yes! Solar Power opened its first company-owned energy outlet in Northern California in October 2007. Yes! Solar Power energy outlets market, sell and install our products within exclusive territories. Outside of Company-owned store operations, we intend to work with dealer partners who will have exclusive geographical territories that include specific application focus. Each dealer will establish retail operations in a defined geographic area to market, sell and install photovoltaic systems. In March 2008, the Company entered into its first two dealer sales agreements.
As energy costs rise and fossil fuels dwindle globally, the deployment of renewable energy grows. We believe solar energy will play an increasingly more important role in the energy independence strategies of home and business owners worldwide.
